1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
1)Original house, that I call the 2-room shack. Horrible place really.
2)Current house that I've been in since I was five. I have a nice big room, which is rare to find in new houses these days, only the Master Bedroom is the big room, the kids get to live in closets.
3)My first dorm, Landis Hall, at Florida State. I had two different rooms there, I liked the single the best, no roommate to wake me up at 4:30 in the morning
4)McCollum Hall, also on campus, but townhouses and efficiencies. 4 girls, one bathroom. Thank goodness we all had different schedules.
5)My first apartment, 3 girls 2 bathrooms, much nicer. :) I loved it, I just hated climbing the stairs.
6)My second apartment, which was also a townhouse. Only one roommate with this one. I really loved this apartment. It was just so groovy and roomy and very cheap. In a nice quiet area too.
2. Which was your favorite and why?
My second apartment. It was nice and quiet, and we usually had visitors, but that was okay, because I loved entertaining. Plus, I felt like a real adult there, well, most of the time. :)
3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
I guess more stressful, just because of all the packing. However, it is kind of nice too, since you get to purge your things and put your life in perspective. But then again, I always waited to the last minute, which didn't leave much time for perspective.
4. What's more important, location or price?
Location location location. Price then decides which location. My house now is in the perfect location. And the price is nice (free). :)
5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
A nice soaking tub with a separate shower. One room just for my office/library/reading room. I need a place separate from my sleeping area to fully unwind, I miss that about my old apartment, the living room was my unwinding area, and my bedroom was just for sleeping, well, and computer using. I wouldn't mind a pool, I just don't want the responsibility of maintenance. What I really want though, is a huge kitchen. Lots of counter space and cabinets.
