I am currently buried under a ton of paperwork. I have finally been "trained" to use MasterBuilders, which is a project management program that a lot of general contractors use to keep track of bills, projects, etc. I guess it has a larger scope than Microsoft Project, I dunno. Anyways, I have to enter all the invoices, insurance certificates, contracts, purchase orders, etc. into this program. But, because *I* haven't been doing it, I don't know what is in there and what isn't. So, I get to go through all of the subcontractors to see if they have been entered into the system and if all of their information is up to date. Not a big deal until you get to this part:
I'm remoting in to their network in Seattle. How freaking slow this is I can't even begin to tell you. I want to fly through the data entry, but I can't, I have to make doubly sure that I am not making any errors because I don't want to have to go back and correct them, it would take another 10 minutes to do that. Luckily, it's not that much to enter. It's all in for the most part, now I get to check everything. That's what is going to take so long.
Straightened the apartment up last night, did some food prep. Probably make some turkey meatballs this evening or something. Not sure yet. Have to do checkbook, figure out if I need any groceries (I'm leaning towards not really minus some jelly for PB&J, unless I can find a good recipe to make my own). Found a bike shop about a mile away from the house, going to go there tomorrow probably in the morning, see what's up, at least get the seat adjusted ask for pointers, etc. Play dumb girl, but it won't be a stretch in this case.
Hector chased Pete off (Pete is Bearded Funny Guy (BFG as I've been calling him on IRC)). It makes sense, since he's getting paid to you know, do his job, not come in here and chit chat. I would be mad if he was available, but he's not (been with his lady for 4 years), so, whatevs. :)
I stayed up to watch ER, but it was a repeat. Ah well, spent the evening watching music videos and goofing around online. Must change address at bank and with insurance company. Lots to do, lots to do. La la la :)
You know, I still kind of feel like I'm staying in a hotel right now. I guess that will change soon enough, but for now, I'm digging it. I <3 hotels. :)
