I am such a tool because I didn't know that I could take a floppy to Kinkos or OfficeMax or whatever and have them print out stuff for me. DUH! So, I downloaded all of the chapters that I need for this new class and am going to take them today to be printed. I can only imagine how much this is going to cost me. I wonder if getting them done double sided will help cut down the cost. We'll see. It's about 16 chapters. I figure this will be more helpful than me having to be chained to the computer to read my texts.

I am having trouble getting motivated to move today. I don't know why. I think because it's Saturday. I told the Dem club that I would help them out today to register voters and to help get petition cards signed to get this candidate on the ballot. I may help out tomorrow instead. We'll see.

I need to go the grocery too. I also heard that there is an article in the latest Uncut mag about Pink Floyd written by Roger Waters. Going to pick that up too. Let you know how it all goes, because I know, gentle readers, that you really give a shit. I also wish the animals would stop attacking each other. It is getting really aggravating. OK, going to get dressed and start moving. I think it's only right. :)

$46 later. That's how much it cost to print out my text book. Jesus. Now, for the moment that better bring me some damn good karma. He rung it up for...wait for it...FORTY SEVEN...CENTS. Yes, that's right. 47 cents. So, did I keep my mouth shut? NO!! I said, "Um, I think you rung me up for forty seven cents instead of forty seven dollars."
"Oh, my, I sure did. Oh, and I didn't see this charge here either." (I had them 3-hole punch it for me so I could put it in a binder.)
"Man, I should have kept my mouth shut." :)
"Well, now you can sleep better tonight."

*sigh*

So, not only did I have to pay the school $60 for the privilege of being able to read this book online, I paid another $47 plus $10 for 2 3" binders (and it fills them both) to have it printed out.

Onward to studying. Bleh.

Sooooo...I like to listen to the "classics": Frank Sinatra and such. There is a station here that plays all kinds of crazy music like that. I absolutely adore it and was jamming out to My Way on the way to the grocery store (where I spent $50 on absolutely nothing). Put me in a good mood. Also swayed me to purchase a bottle of Riesling which I am about halfway through right now. That's right, I'm blaming Frank Sinatra for my drinking habit! SO THERE!

I also bought "The Story of O" today. Something that has been on list of things to read. Should make for interesting reading, no?
