Oh yeah, one more thing:

I noticed in gmail that it gives you ads to click based on what the email says or whatever. I was in the spam folder and it had a link to "spam hashbrown bake"

I almost puked up my veggie burrito.

My bad--but I actually found jury duty interesting when I was on it in January.

Then again, I got to sit on the panel. It wuz cool.

Yeah, if I had been on a trial or at least picked for selection that would have been something.

ah well, at least I think i'm free from duty for another year or so :)

Something like that.

My getting to sit on a panel for a trial made it a more interesting experience for me--it was the first time I got to do that.

I'm that rare person (dork, perhaps?) who really does not mind being called for jury duty.

I was so excited when I got called in Florida, but I was excused before I even had to show up. I wouldn't have minded so much this time around, but right now, I can't afford to miss work. Ah well, maybe next time around. :)

Well, the part about not being able to afford to miss work is a hard nut to crack--because I work in a county office, I'm covered for jury duty--but if I didn't show up (or produce the documentation of my attendance), I'd be screwed.

Hope things get better for you in the new year!
