Ok, seriously, heels, stop hurting. No, really, knock it off. This is getting ridiculous.

I was told by my supervisor today that if we go into crazy hours after this one military contract goes through, we may start a second shift in shipping. I had expressed interest in working a later shift. He said, if it goes through, I'll probably be running it.

Rock the fuck on.

I am not counting my eggs before they hatch, however. In an effort to help myself get a little more money there, I asked him if I could talk to the shop foreman about working some after shift hours in assembly. He thought that was a good idea. So, I'll be doing that.

Oh, and if anyone wants to see one of the things that I have wrapped, packed and shipped out click here the article is here It's the MGL-140. Yeah, I packed that. I have also handled one of those. It's pretty heavy, but once you get it settled just right, it's pretty comfy. For a gun.

Got a fab new shirt for Saturday night and a new pair of shorts for work. A size smaller. Woo!

Talked with Heather last night on the phone. She always finds a way to make me feel better. I can't wait until she comes out for a visit. I miss her terribly.

And Bobbie has sold her home finally! Yay!

I'm guessing...you work for Raytheon?

My brother works in an ammunitions dept in Oklahoma. He was physically tamping down "bunker buster" bombs by hand. *shudder*
