Yet another skirt
07:56pm 13/08/2006
It's true. I bought another skirt. It's almost too big for me, but another size down would have been too small. I hate being stuck in this weirdo size limbo.

I went to Old Navy this afternoon. Just popped in to see if I could get a cheap pair of jeans for work that won't fall off without a belt. No such luck. 1) the two pair that I grabbed from the clearance rack were too big and 2) EVERYTHING THERE IS LOW RISE.

I'm sorry, but...no fat people in low rise clothing. There are even a few skinny people I would have issue with being in low rise clothing. I did, however, grab a cute shirt to wear. Yay! (btw, fermi_daza they are having pretty good clearance on tank tops)

I need to go get that skirt hemmed up. It's just a tad too long. I like them to be above the knee. While my knees aren't as nice as Justine Bateman's, they are pretty groovy.

We went to the zoo after brunch today. I wanted to skritch every fuzzy animal on the belly. Vera got some extra pets tonight when I got home. She probably wants me to go to the zoo every day now.

I think I'm gonna go to bed now. I'm exhausted.
