I rarely wish bad things on people, but this one may be a wish for better things for someone.

I just finished a job interview with a financial services firm, for a marketing assistant. The person who is going to be offered first dibs on the position has 3 years experience in promotions and marketing (dammit. and it's with a radio group here in town!) but lacks the computer knowledge that I would bring to the table. I guess you can always hire a computer consultant to cover what that person can't or won't know. Anyways, so, instead of wishing bad things for her, I wish for her that a job that she REALLY has her eye on calls her up instead. If I don't hear from this guy by next Friday, I'll know that my wishing was fruitless and that she has been awarded my position. :)
mood: wishywishy
