I'm hoping the phone doesn't ring

in the next 15 minutes. If it does, I have to go into work. Let's hope it's a slow night.

Loretta is all fixed. She's supposed to be lethargic and sleepy and slow moving.

She's jumping around, playing with toys, and annoying Vera.

I think she's full of super evil strength or something.

I sent some choice emails from today to parilous from some of our clients. I'm going to spend the rest of my days there collecting the best ones. When I am done working there I will post them.

Ok, loretta is digging into the carpet. Seriously. She just had surgery and she's all HEY LETS GO PLAY AND STUFF WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Why We Cite: Starchy Tuber
Maybe if we make enough money selling periscopes, we can start an underground publishing house that puts all of those e-mails into print.

I'd like to publish a similar book called Overheard at Borders. You'd think there'd be a lot of smart, well-read people at Borders, but sometimes I hear some really stupid crap being discussed on the headsets. A week or two ago, someone asked, "Do we sell navigational maps?" I felt like saying, "No, we only sell maps that don't identify any places and don't even say what they're maps of." (Never mind that the first section that would have popped into my head is the Travel section.)

Have you been asked where the nonfiction section is, yet?

No, I haven't had that one yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
