It's a bad idea sometimes to catch up with old friends. I just found out that one of them is pregnant. I'm happy for her, she seems to be insanely happy, but come on people!

I never pegged her for the marrying and baby type. Her hair changed color every week. We had a customer who would come in just to see what color her hair was going to be that week. Then would proceed to spend about $50 on books. I loved that lady.

Just kind of feels that life is moving forward a whole lot for all these other people but I'm kind of sitting here in neutral just waiting for the light to change so I can go.

I am also covered in kitties as I type this.

Just wanted to share that with you all.

Anyways, so yeah, come out to dinner and drinking this evening. Should be good times. Maybe we'll make Chelsea pay for everything. Probably not, but it would be fun to try.

You may feel a little stagnant, but you've made some huge changes in your life. I mean, not everyone has the strength to do what you did (uprooting your life, moving across country, creating a whole new social network for yourself).

Don't underestimate how much effort that takes -- you probably discount this accomplishment because it was relatively easy for you to make the move and surround yourself with new friends. But it takes a lot of time to create a new life for yourself, a lot of effort to make new friends, and a lot of energy to work as hard as you do.

So, hang in there. I know you feel like you're in neutral, but in reality, you have moved forward!
