Pretty slow day, again. *sigh* My other driver called out, which I figured he was going to do, he had prewarned me about it, so it wasn't a big shock. I had already told him I would cover his shift for him if he absolutely needed me to do that for him. He did. So, I hopped on the road about 5 or so. I didn't get out of there until about 10 p.m.

On delivery number six or seven I slipped. On a loose gravel driveway. I think there are still some rocks in my knee. It's starting to swell. It's the same knee that I fell on the night it snowed. It hurts like a bitch and I'm a little hesitant to go wash it, but I know that I need to. Ow.

Then ice packs will help. I hope.

I get to go on a day trip tomorrow. I'm very excited. Yay!

Gah, this is what I get when I don't read posts in order!

Today's IKEA trip will kind of suck (with all that walking), so take some Aleve or ibuprofen to reduce inflammation. Tomorrow, if you think there are rocks still inside, you may want to go to the urgent care for an x-ray -- you may have damaged your patella. You can't damage it worse by walking on it, but you can prevent it from healing properly (giving you a "bad knee"). Anyway, I know you're reluctant to go (money, time from work), but you really have to take care of yourself before you worry about everything else.
