Now, this doesn't mean that I'm giving up friends or whatever because I need my friends. They help make me who I am. And it's nice to get out of the house every now and again. But, other things that I've decided to do for me: 1) go for walks around the duck pond (now that I know where it is) 2) join NaNoWriMo and 3) take it a little easier.
I have supervisors who should know what they are doing and so, they can manage on their own. Simple as that. I don't see any other managers staying until all hours of the night, I need to let go and let them do what they are supposed to do. This leaves me more time for me. Walks, writing, watching stuff on the internet. You know, important things.
NaNoWriMo. I have an idea, and I had a few pages written, but I don't like the way it's going so, I'm going to start over with this basic idea that I had with some of these characters and *maybe* I can turn this into a nice retirement nest egg. Sadly, it may be one of those pink books, but if that's what you gotta do to sell a book, so be it. Save the Great American Novel (tm) for when you have more time/money to actually focus on it. :)
I haven't fully decided yet if I want to put up an ad on Craigslist, and that is something that I still need to think about, but I have a great idea on how to weed people out again, thanks to Dave. Such a good guy.
For a second I thought I saw Tiger Woods, but, it's not him, it's someone else. Anyways, I have some more work to do on the house, I decided to not vacuum last night because of the noise and it was already after 8 p.m. Didn't want to disturb the neighbors. Especially when they say that my friends and I play Scrabble(tm) too loudly.
Oh, and if you didn't see The Office, at the very least, watch the ad that Michael came up with. It's fantastic.
Ok, hairballs beckon.
