The drama that is.

Tui, one of my supervisors, was knifed on Sunday evening. This, for reasons unknown to me, caused Miss to freak out and *need* to be at the location of the event. Of course, once the cops started showing up, she got the hell out of there. Nothing like a few warrants to make you want to go back to work.

I, stupidly, came back into work to help her get out of there sooner and then take her to UMC so she could go check up on him. The funniest part was that she didn't know his actual name. I do, of course, since I do payroll and wrote it down on the visitor log. It asks relationship to the patient, I put down "boss/friend". I told the clerk, "I'm mostly here to see if he's faking it."

Anyways, Tui is fine. The mantackle did get nicked and he needed a few stitches for the berries, but the twig needed none. He required 99 stitches in his thigh. Ouch. He'll be wearing his island skirts to work until the stitches are out. Light duty, no heavy lifting, etc. Poor guy. Of course, I'm not babying him, it's more a teasing meanness. "I would have made you walk instead of driving you up here!" type stuff. :)

I can't help but wonder why J isn't fulfilling his basic supervisor duties. I think there may be a chat tonight before I leave. I'm getting tired of not being called when there is an overage or a shortage. The log isn't being filled out. I have no idea what happens when I'm not here. It's ridiculous. I may have to have A&D get an ad out to hire a new supervisor. *sigh* Then again, this kind of shake up may be just what the store needs, right? Anyways.

I actually shut all but one window last night. Little too chilly in the house for me. 54 degrees this morning. I think living out here has thinned my blood or something. Normally I'd still have a fan or something on, just one extra blanket. Of course, this also means I don't want to get out of bed in the morning. The kitties don't help. They are extra snuggly right now. Especially when the food dish is empty. They just crawl on me and snuggle in instead of hitting me with a baseball bat to get them their dinner. Or breakfast. Or lunch. Or martinis.

Anyways, I've been rambling. I need to get going for work this morning. Have to start prep, hopefully we get our new table today. Maybe I'll get a more in depth post this Sunday or so. need to do the latest updates on the spyware and what not, so I'll be bringing the computer to brunch. :)

Did you see the injuries?

Was it a large target to hit?

I have not seen the injuries, nor do I know the largess of his bits. Not something I care to know. You know how I roll.

Oh man, when pets start snuggling it's impossible to get out of bed.
