Glorious day off.

Had a nice sleep in. That was the first good thing about the day. Then, headed out to do a few things. Dropped off some paperwork at corporate. That particular employee no longer works for us, so it wasn't even an issue. Then, went grocery shopping. I don't know how I spent as much as I did, but I did. I have food in the house again.

Then, I tackled the house. It's slowly coming along and turning back into a refuge instead of something I wince every time I walk in the door. Got a little bit of vacuuming done, all of the laundry (save for a few bits and bobs that I unearthed in other parts), but I have fresh, clean sheets on the bed, all the towels are clean and fresh. I even hung up hand towels in the bathroom. Crazy!

The laundry was the big thing, though. I'm glad that's all sorted out. I even put everything away. That *never* happens. If anyone wants this closet organizer thing I got from IKEA you are welcome to it. My closet isn't big enough for two of them. It's red and hangs from the clothes bar thingie. It's called a Skubb. Let me know and it's yours.

April, remind me I have something for you. And if Kerith wants the skubb, it's all hers. I can probably come up to visit in like three weeks from Sunday (provided I can work that day off).

I spoke with the financial lady at corporate while I was there and asked her if she thought that there would be some bonuses coming our way. There should be. THANK HEAVENS! Yay!!

That will help in the short run. I'll hopefully be able to put some of it into savings. Maybe I can even get my camera fixed. I've only been trying to do that for over a year now.

There were probably other things that I wanted to talk about, but I don't remember. I'm in a pretty good mood right now, so it's probably not good to talk about work type things at the moment. Instead, I will head for bed. Yay!!

I would love the Skubb for Kerith -- I was planning on going to Ikea when I was dropping Jenny off at the airport, but I had forgotten my ATM card, so I couldn't. I was looking for something like that for Kerith to use for clothes or stuffed animals. Yay for serendipity!

Let me know if you want company this weekend for cleaning or whatnot. I can't spend any money, but my labor is free...
