The power was out this morning, right before most people eat lunch and it affected the 4th Ave store. Uh oh. I got about 1/2 of their orders this morning on top of my own. And that's just the people who were smart enough to call a different location to see if we would go there. Which is why I got to drive to City Court and be lectured by the Parking Nazi guy who drives around in a golf cart all day lecturing people about where they should park. *rolls eyes* And that's why my driver got to go to Speedway and Park Ave. And they sent over their driver to take two orders all the way over there, too. Their driver didn't read his ticket, so some poor people didn't get to eat salads. :(

Of course, we charged them for it. :) I'll let 4th Ave eat that one.

It all stopped about 12:30, so that's good. We did almost the entire day's business in about 3 hours. Yay! The deliveries that I took gave me enough to get a couple of gallons of gas in the car and a pack of smokes. Good times. With the mileage payout, I'll be looking at making about $2 today. :)

However, my printer up front is fucked as is the #1 computer. Great. I've called the computer guy twice, this time around he needs to come out and figure this shit out, because it's just ridiculous. But, I managed to get it patched together long enough to get us through lunch. He better get here before dinner. That's all I'm saying about that.

I had to be in at 7 a.m. to help the handyman with the breaker tests and I think that had a LOT to do with the computer being all funky. It just can't handle that kind of pressure. I'm ready for a nap now. I so wish I could take one. I could, in theory, clock off and go home for an hour or so, but that would just make me grumpy when I would have to wake up. Instead, I'll do administrative tasks and start figuring everything that we need to get done for the Tuesday remodel. YAY!!!
