So, I went to the doctor today. The endocrinologist to be exact. After waiting a half hour after my appointment time I finally got to see the doctor. So, I may have polycystic ovary disease. Fun, huh? They checked my blood sugar, it was 224. That is SO NOT good. If I check it in the morning it's usually around 120, which isn't great, especially for first thing in the morning, but it's a hell of a lot better than 224. My blood pressure was 150/110. Really NOT good. But, these things may be caused in part from the PCOD. So, they took about a gallon of blood to run five gazillion tests to check all these things. Not a great day. But, I guess if this can get under control then perhaps the weight loss will follow. I seem to fit the pattern of weight accumulation that most women with this disease do. I may actually be one of those people who isn't completely at fault for being overweight! Look, I found the fucking silver lining. *sigh*

I'm going to bed. I'm going to have a long day tomorrow.
