Had to come in early to drop off the paychecks. So, I'm taking a few minutes to read LJ and what not until it gets closer to four when I actually have to be here.

Sunday was a fun day. I met up with parilous and fermi_daza at the Capin's Auto on the northwest side. Turns out these two have been plotting for a month to spring this surprise on me. Instead, I figured it out the day before after some leading texts were sent my way.

My car was fabulously detailed. Took the guy like 4 hours to do it, but it looks fantastic. The only issue is that it still kind of smells like a brand new port-a-potty. And garlic.

I don't think the garlic smell will every go away. Ever.

We had pancakes at Millie's. Service wasn't terrible, but it wasn't phenomenal. The apple butter was delicious. So were my pancakes. Yum!

Then I had to drop by the store and pick up payroll stuff and drop that off at 4th Ave. Then we headed to World Sports bar and grill. They have beer. It was good. Then back to Capin's to pick up my baby. She looks almost brand new. So awesome.

Other than that, things are just plugging along. The store was the only one out of five that made a profit for July. Yeah, that's right. I'm awesome.

Ok, gotta run, might as well start my shift early. bleh.

I'm sorry that you weren't surprised, but glad that you had time to clean out your car. :)

Here's the link to the photo album:

It was a lovely fun mystery to figure out! :)

I was surprised that you guys put a month of thought into the gift, but that i'm so difficult to pin down that you practically have to drag me away kicking and screaming to do anything :) :) :)
