I've been at the store all day. It has been fairly boring. At least my staff are keeping me entertained. I'm almost finished with inventory AND with payroll, that's always nice, very ahead of the game tonight. Just a few more things to count. I love numbers and all, but not this much.

I was thinking about how on cop shows (and I can't for the life of me figure what triggered this thought), but you know how they go to someone's house that was their last known address and they've moved and sold the property. How does the new owner know where the people moved? I have no clue where the dude I bought the condo from moved. I don't even know the guy's name!

Maybe because it's more dramatic than showing them going through deed transfers and contacting realtors?

anyways, IKEA tomorrow!!! squee!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a list of things I want to look at and/or purchase.

Oh, and spending some quality time with L, A and C is also a bonus! :)

Ok, going to count some boxes. Very exciting.

Oh, and Burn After Reading is funny as all get out.

That is all. :)

YES. Burn After Reading was awesome! I heart George Clooney with a sex ramp!

Nihil Obstat
Yeah, cop shows tend not to show the grunt work. Because it's boring.

I also agree on Burn After Reading. I'm surprised so many people didn't like that one, really. OK, it's not "The Big Lebowski", but it's a significant improvement on "Intolerable Cruelty".

Regarding your icon: You know in Britain, they call potted plants "pot plants". This confused me for quite a while.

Also, what are the chances that the current resident is going to be home when they arrive? Do these people not have jobs or errands to run?

I also like how in the last two movies I've seen in which someone gets stopped by a bunch of cop cars--and a police helicopter--you never hear the helicopter until it's visible. I've always been able to hear helicopters from quite a distance.
