It's been interesting the past few days. I think I may really have reached a breaking point with work. The move to 55 hour work weeks, mandatory, is one of them. I guess I didn't mind working the 55 hours if I didn't *have* to do it. Instead, I get to work 5 11 hour shifts, but you know, it doesn't always work out that way, so I wind up working a little more than that. Then the Houghton manager and I found out that the 4th Ave manager got to take Memorial Day off and so had the corporate guys to handle his shit for him. Even with yesterday off, he wasn't able to make it to the meeting this morning. The only time I got to skip a Monday was when I took vacation time from the weekend through to the next week. I'm pretty sure that this isn't his first time missing his Monday shift. Not to mention, missing a meeting. You know, because they are OH SO IMPORTANT.

Bah, whatever. Got our April P&Ls back today. Made money for them again. Not as much, as our sales are dropping fairly fast, especially now that we are moving into the summer months. I see that Pizza Hut was hiring drivers and Sushi Garden is hiring servers. I could give those both a try OR I can hang through the summer just to make sure, get to using the insurance (of course, we are going out to bid on it again as they raised the premiums $500/mo) and get some things going with that before I perhaps find a better job.

I think I just found a bruise on my thigh and I don't know where it came from. Hmmm.

I bought some Aveeno Stress Relief or something. It smells yummy.

I feel like a broken record. I think I should just get some sleep.

It would be a good idea to use some of those insurance benefits as soon as possible. Feel free to schedule appointments when you know you're supposed to be at work (but there's enough staff to cover you), because you can get a doctor's excuse for missing work.

Your excuse: "Doctors' schedules don't revolve around my days off."

You should get a check up anyway, if only to check to see if you need any medications for blood pressure or whatever. I know; I should talk! I've been needing to go to the gyno for almost three years. :\

Do as I say, not as I do!
