Our air conditioner broke down in the store. It was over 99 degrees in there today. it's down to 89 right now. It's going to take a while for it to actually, you know, cool the whole store off.

*sigh*

I've sweat so much the past few days I think I'm out of toxins :)

i have some other news, but I am waiting until I have things more arranged before I let it all out here.

However, I can tell you of the suckfest on Monday regarding the computers at work, printers that don't like me and asshats in corporate.

For whatever reason, the store computer stopped recognizing the POS as an authorized printer of papers. Awesome. And then I couldn't get the damn password to work for the administrator account for the POS. More awesome. Somehow this is entirely MY RESPONSIBILITY to get this fixed and have EVERYTHING DONE before 9 a.m. the next morning. Ummm...it may not be possible for me to get this done before 9 a.m. as I have to wait for the computer guy to come in and help me do something with the password system.

THANKFULLY, the POS tech guy called me back and I was able to get part of the issue worked out so that I was able to fulfill my responsibilities and print out some reports. Reports, mind you, that can be printed in the corporate office. Chew on that one for a minute.

Whatever.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if we were actually busy. ugh.

Ok, I'm done with closing, so I'm out the door now. Later kids.

Awww! You should come up to CO for your next vacation! It's so cool here that we only use the AC a few hours a day! AND we have a guest bedroom with a guest bed... AND I'm making pasta alfredo tonight...
