why do people feel the need to answer their cell phones in the library?

I would have thought that the person that post was originally regarding would have realized his error. Nope. Rang again, took the call right there...again. Sounded like a douche...again.


Then there was the guy sitting right next to me who was practically yelling into the phone. I only understood half the call, it was in Spanish, but it didn't seem very important. What was worse, I could hear the other person talking, too.

The thing about rules is... the people who obey them, you often don't need to tell them to. The people who break them are going to break them no matter what.

The libraries, by the way, no longer have no cellphone rules. Most people have internalized the rule, and those that haven't, never will.
