Yay for payday on the 15th. I'm going to be doing that dance *points at icon* while I'm at the bank. Of course, it's not a huge amount of money, but it gets 2 big bills paid, and a couple of smaller ones. The writing is thankfully bringing in enough to keep the car and the kitties fed.
Both of them are sacked out next to me on the bed. Their life is so difficult. :)
Work was eh, tonight. I swear all of my calls were the longest calls EVAR. 40 minutes on one explaining to her that if she is roaming the programming and test calls won't work. Roaming is a huge no-no on prepaid. It can happen, but you have to fight for it. I explained that she would have to go to the store to get it finished, there was nothing more I could do. Then she did the sit on the phone quietly thing. Awkward. Hi, lady, listen, I can't do it. I am physically unable to do this. I'm sorry, it freaking SUCKS for both of us because this means if this call is monitored (although, after the 8 minute mark, they don't bother) I don't get "first call resolution" because I didn't solve your problem. I'm sorry, I can't help you. Please get off the line, you are KILLING my handle time.
Almost every call was like that. I also wonder what kind of people I'm working with when they laugh at someone's reason for calling. Laugh when you get off the phone, not while they can hear you...dumbass. So, to make up for someone being a shit, I gave a lady a credit (which, honestly, I felt was deserved, the way the charges went down was completely screwy). Again, since that call was about 20 minutes, I probably won't get called out on it, but still, damn. A lot of the people near me were on longer than usual calls, which was probably why the queue was so backed up. Everyone is all chatty right now.
I'm still waiting to get some new pizza drama stories. Street fair was over the weekend, that's always good for some fun stories. Ok, I think bed is calling. :)
