Huge Update!

Wow, so it's been awhile since I've written. So here's the scoop.
Tuesday November 12, 2002 my new cousins arrived in the world. Skyler Aaron Henry was 7 lbs. 6 oz. and he was 19" long he was followed by his sister Sidney Michelle Henry, who was 6 lbs. 2 oz. and 17" long. (for those unfamiliar with twins, those are some damn big babies!) They were born 3 minutes apart. I spent the first two nights with my cousin in the hospital (she had a c-section so they keep you for three days). I helped feed the babies and change their diapers and just fell in love with holding them and cuddling them.

I don't think that I'm a huge baby person, I tend to dislike children based on their behavior (or maybe it's the parent's behavior I dislike). Anyways, these two I love because I know I can help discipline and because I was there before they were one hour old. (My aunt was in the room with my cousin, I elected to stay in the waiting room and read Harry Potter 2).

So, the babies are home now and they are doing well. Cute as buttons and starting to fill out into big healthy babies. The rest of the week I pretty much just did work at my job and traveled to the hospital.

Then I sent out $40 for a "Work at home" directory. Save your money people. It's just not worth it. Unless you are doing some sort of transcription work or claims work, there really isn't a market for this. I was about to send some money out to find out about envelope stuffing, but I did some research on that on the web and read a few stories about the scams that got run with that, so I elected to keep my money and just find a part time job somewhere to save for the wedding and a down payment on a house.

My dad still hasn't found a job, he was "laid off" a few weeks ago. I put that in quotation marks because he was fired for the company not having enough work for him to do. So, he's looking around trying to find something else to do.

My mom started jury duty today. That sounds like fun.

I was supposed to go to disney world this weekend for my friend's birthday, but that fell through due to lack of funding. Both of us are broke broke broke.

So, I'll be cooking chicken stir fry tonight and visiting the babies because I really have nothing else to do with my time right now since I don't have a part time job and no interest in anything else at the moment. Yep...so, that's it!
